I study wildlife conservation at Nottingham Trent University and spent 5 months working on the FWBR project during my placement year. The research experience I gained proved to be invaluable and complimented my university education perfectly. I felt huge pride being part of an organisation that completes essential conservation work. Subsequently, my internship further increased my passion for the natural world, giving me the confidence to apply for a Master of Research in a related field. My future plans also include further trips to Malta and Tenerife to study and observe these beautiful elasmobranchs again!
