I’ve had a different background to most people working in marine conservation. I graduated in neuroscience and went into an animal behaviour masters, both at sussex university. My master thesis focused on the behaviour of catsharks in predator prey context. This research brought me to the EEA 2018 conference where I got involved with the fly with bull rays project, gradually taking up more responsibilities within the project.  I would like to make sure part of my spare time is dedicated to protecting our home and our ocean, and I think that fly with bull rays is steadily working towards this.
