Lauren is currently studying towards a BSc Marine Geography degree at Cardiff University. For her placement year, she is working on the Fly with Bull Rays project as part of her internship with Sharklab Malta. Throughout her degree, Lauren’s fascination with the marine environment has driven her interest in conservation. The Fly with Bull Rays project has allowed her to get involved with conservation efforts and gain experience in this field.  She believes that it is vital to protect our oceans and the species within them. As a result, Lauren wants to pursue a career in marine conservation to help ensure a successful future for all marine life.
